The Old Waiting Rooms, situated on the southbound platform of Hunmanby Station.

Holiday on a working railway station in The Old Waiting Rooms, a sympathetic conversion of station waiting rooms still retaining a railway cottage feel and situated directly on the southbound platform of Hunmanby Railway Station near Filey in North Yorkshire. Trains run direct from the station to the Yorkshire seaside towns of Filey and Bridlington; also directly to Driffield, Beverley, Cottingham, and Hull, and with one change at Scarborough, to the heritage centres of Whitby and York.

Just 1.5 miles from the coast and close to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, The Old Waiting Rooms is a unique self-catering holiday cottage with many original features and is bound to become a favourite with rail enthusiasts.

Class A4 streamlined Pacific locomotive No 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" rests at Pickering Station, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, having just arrived from Grosmont.

 

The Old Waiting Rooms offers the chance to explore Yorkshire's beautiful coast and Moors by train. The Old Waiting Rooms sleeps two and is available all year for full weeks or short breaks.
